Greetings from Holland

Hi everyone,



Took some time, I apologize for that, but here finally is my first (but hopefully far from the last) contribution to the blog.

Great work, nice to read this lively debate on some people's craziness (can you say it like that?).



Anyway, we have been quite busy back home at Cals College Nieuwegein.

At this moment I have more than 30 students eager to take part in the exchange and to get to know you guys and girls.

So I hope some more Vineland students want to be involved as well. Just tell them they don't want to miss this international, multicultural, exciting, inspiring, life-changing experience!



Tomorrow will be the last schoolday this year. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, a Happy, healthy and successful 2009 (Oh my goodness, time really flies, I feel like I am getting old).

How's it going?

welcome students

Hello everyone,

Hope that everyone can join and enter posts. This blog is for everyone interested in participating in our Holland exchange. Johan Lamberts was here the week of Oct. 13. He visited our high school and sat in on some classes. He said the Vineland students are quieter than the Holland students. Wow! Can you believe that???

Well, anyway we are trying to get this thing off the ground. So if you received an email it is because you have expressed an interest in this exchange.

For this year, we will have an internet exchange beginning with students introducing themselves and matching up with a Dutch student. Then we will work on a project together, and sometime early in 2009 an live broadcast where students can actually meet.

Next year we hope to have a physical exchange. Dutch students visiting here, and then Vineland students going to Holland.
